"Great welcome and professional teachers"

I had a very nice experience at Newcastle International House. I attended the school for two weeks and from the first day I was welcome with love. My class was composed by 8-10 students from different countries of the world and also thisone was a beautiful experience. My teacher John is a fantastic teacher, he was always attentive to needs of each student. He was professional, but also humorous and friendly.
The location of the school is great because it is in the city centre near Eldonsquare and all services.

The school offer a lot of facilities like a pc room where you can go for your Personal Study Program, with teachers that help you if you need, and a lot of group activities, like trip or dinner and such.

"A wonderful Week"

For one week I was joining the general English B2 class. I enjoyed each day a lot. The vibe in the international House is pretty good. It was nice to met so much people from all over the world with the same destination: studying English. My teacher was wonderful. She did the lessons very varied with lots of opportunities to improve our English skills. I was also fascinated how she looked after every student. I made this experience also in the office and the PSP. In the PSP I had the possibility to work on my individuell weakness. The sources of study material at the PSP have a proper reach. If I will have the opportunity I will visit the International House in Newcastle definitely again!

"Very helpful experience"

Teachers were very friendly and helpful, the location was in the city centre, five minutes or less from everything and the accomomdation was very nice. A beautiful room with private bathroom located in an area well connected with the city centre.

Self-Catering Apartment with Private En-suite Bathroom and Kitchen Studios

Each studio comes with a bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe with mirror on the door, desk and chair, shelving unit, under bed storage and bedside cabinet, etc. All bedrooms have their own en-suite bathrooms with a spacious shower. Bedding (pillow, quilt, bedsheets) is provided - students should bring their own towels. Each studio is equipped with a kitchen area which is fully fitted, including a dining table and chair.

Please note:

Self catering accommodations are external accommodation providers and no refunds can be given for leaving early.

Bookings are from Sunday to Sunday. (If you have an earlier arrival, it may be possible for you to book into a room for £40 per night.)

If you wish to extend your stay, there is an extension fee of £30.

Charlotte House is in the city centre, only 5 minutes’ walk from
International House. Each apartment has 3, 4, 5 or 6 lockable bedrooms,
2 shower rooms/bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen. All utilities and
Wi-Fi connections are included. Bedding, crockery and cutlery are
provided. The rent includes twice weekly cleaning of the common areas,
but students are responsible for keeping their bedroom, bathroom and
kitchen in a clean condition. These apartments are ideal for students who
want to be independent and in the company of other international
students, close to all the places of interest in this lively university city.

Não podemos solicitar vistos em nome dos estudantes. Contudo, a escola pode fornecer-lhe toda a documentação de que precisa para ajudar na solicitação do seu visto.

Se está a estudar no RU por mais de 11 meses, irá receber um número de referência chamado de Confirmação de Admissão para Estudos (CAE) que necessita submeter à embaixada do RU em conjunto com a sua solicitação do Visto de Estudante Geral. Os estudantes que reservar com sucesso um curso de línguas e pagaram as suas taxas irão receber uma CAE da International House. Por favor tenha em atenção de que a lei do RU refere que a CAE só pode ser emitida para estudantes que pretendem seguir estudos de Inglês durante mais de 11 meses.

Se está a estudar no RU há 11 meses ou menos, tem de solicitar um visto visitante especial chamado Visto de Visitante Estudante. Como visitante estudante, não terá permissão para trabalhar em part-time enquanto estuda. Se planeia estudar no RU durante 11 meses ou menos, uma carta de aceitação será enviada para a sua morada por correio normal sem nenhum custo para si. Se deseja receber o seu formulário por correio expresso, você será cobrado £ 80 quando se inscrever.

"I have two prospective students who would like to study at International House: Newcastle. They travel with family. Is it possible to book just for the course, lunch and activities, without accommodation?"

I’m afraid that, as our Edinburgh program is residential, this would not be possible. However, if the students would like to study on our Junior Home stay Program in Newcastle, this would be possible, and we would be able to alter the price accordingly . I’m afraid that we can’t add students to our system until they have actually booked, so this would be difficult.

"I have a prospective sponsored student from Saudi Arabia who would like to study at International House: Newcastle. The student is worried about his visa application and would therefore like a written confirmation that you can actually support his Tier 4 visa. application."

He provided all the required documents for his potential Tier 4 Visa application, but unfortunately our Academic Director confirmed he is not the right level to apply to this type of Visa after he sent through the compulsory written Level Test, backed up with the grammar in his correspondence with us. As we have also told the student, that does not mean his course is cancelled. We confirmed that a place is available to this student, who has been accepted provisionally to study a full-time English language course at this school. We have provided him with more information about the Student Visa application process. He can apply for a Student Visitor Visa (for courses of 24 weeks or less) or an Extended Student Visitor Visa (for courses of 11 months or less).
