Lessons Only Programme (25hrs lessons)

As noted, Frau Wolfe is a very nice person who wanted to make my stay comfortable. The room I stayed in was a good size and comfortable. The kitchen was not quite as clean as I would have liked. Frau Wolfe made very tasty food - the same meal lasted 2 days so I would have liked more variety. I also asked for organic food but generally it was not.
We did not do any outside activities together, though I was a bit limited for time as I had to check in with my work daily.
She was very talkative in between our lessons and it was good for me to be exposed in this immersive conversational way. I appreciated this.
I did not feel my level of German language was so well suited to Frau Wolfe's style. She did try hard and I was also trying but I did not make as much progress as I was expecting. I have since found working myself with books and online courses and using AI for exercises and grammar explanations has actually been helping more.
The course coordinator called on the first day I was there to check in. This was a bad idea - He knew Frau Wolfe was right there (I was speaking to him on her phone). So how an honest and direct reporting of how the visit was going was impossible. I think you should be embarrassed about the lack of thought you put into this.
Senden is not a great place for a visitor but Frau Wolfe's home is in a great location right inside a large park.
