France Horizon

The classes were interesting. There were games and activities and the French spoken was the everyday basics without all the unnecessary things you learn in a classroom.

Teachers were helpful. Only if important things weren't understood they would speak English but otherwise they only spoke French and would reformulate in French until it was understood.

Location was central and close to the metro. Even though websites say it's not a safe area at night, I didn't notice anything at all when I went out with other people from the group.

It was up to the group to decide the activities and everyone had their wishes granted. Sometimes there were choices between more activities, which was great.

Housing was alright. The walls weren't very soundproof so I could hear people in the street but fine amount of space and everything needed was there.

I really liked the "classes" because we didn't sit in one room all the time, but it was connected to sightseeing. We had to speak French and it really helped me to start to talk and not be afraid of using French. Teachers spoke French clearly and there were no problems with understanding them. The location isn't bad; it is situated near the underground and it's easy to find the school. I enjoyed the time in Paris. I liked the activities; some of them were really funny. Maybe the building and rooms aren't exclusive, but everything was clean and there is no problem with housing.

I have spent a week with France Horizon in Paris, and I have to say that I still recall it with a great sentiment.
The teachers were great. Most of them were French, so obviously there was no place for any mistakes :) Moreover, these people were fun, spontaneous and amazing. Anywhere we went, there was time for playing games or accomplishing assignments, which were both educational and fun. Every day we had a choice of two activities for morning and the afternoon. Thanks to that we had an influence on what we wanted to see/do.
I really wish it was more than just one week!

If you really want to touch and feel the French everyday life this course is the best.
After one day you feel like you are with friends and you are having the greatest vacation.
You prepare the week plan all together and you do everything in a French way :) Visiting, eating, singing, playing games and much more; up to your wishes even.
