Located in the canton of Glarus, offers an unforgettable and enriching experience in the heart of the Swiss Alps. Car-free and surrounded by spectacular alpine landscapes, forests, and panoramic views, Braunwald provides the perfect environment for young learners to combine language studies with fun-filled summer adventures in nature.

Braunwald Summer Camp offers an exciting combination of language learning, outdoor adventures and social activities in a beautiful Alpine setting. With 15 hours of language lessons per week. Afternoons are filled with excursions, outdoor activities and creative workshops, providing plenty of opportunities to practise their language skills while discovering the surrounding region.

Language lessons take place in small groups of around six students, allowing teachers to provide individual attention and adapt their teaching to each participant’s needs. Classes focus on communication and practical language use through interactive methods such as role-play, games, theatre and audiovisual activities. Courses are suitable for learners ranging from beginners to proficient speakers, and an optional intensive language course is also available.

The camp is hosted at the Adrenalin Backpacker in Braunwald, a peaceful, car-free mountain village in Switzerland’s Glarus region, known for its spectacular Alpine views. Accommodation options include shared rooms with four to six beds, as well as rooms with private bathrooms, and full-board meals are provided. The programme includes three excursions and two workshops per week, sports and outdoor activities, and an entertaining evening programme featuring games, karaoke, discos and campfires. Participants also benefit from 24-hour supervision and receive a certificate of participation at the end of their stay.
